This week, in Maths, the children had great pleasure in using a trundle wheel to measure the lengths of different areas of the school, in Metres. The children worked in turns, alongside their peers to roll the trundle wheel along the ground and count the revolutions for each time the trundle wheel clicked.

From all the measurements gathered, the children were able to correlate that the greatest distance covered was their play area, measuring a grand total of 31 metres.
